Description: The Environmental Appeals Board is the final administrative decision maker in matters concerning administrative enforcement proceedings brought under Federal Environmental statutes which the E.P.A. administers. The caseload is largely appeals from civil penalty decisions and permit decisions.

Internship/Seasonal Positions: Interns function in a manner similar to law clerks working closely with members of the board and staff attorneys. Most of the work involves research and writing on decisions before the board. Students should be familiar with both environmental and administrative law issues.
