Description: The Office of the Chief Counsel for International Trade provides legal advice and support to the International Trade Administration on international trade, investment and export promotion matters. International Commerce attorneys work closely with the USTR and other government agencies and the private sector. The office primarily focuses on Multilateral Trade and Investment Agreements, Bilateral Trade and Investment Agreements, Industry Sectors on domestic regulatory proposals, Export Promotion and International Business Practices.

Internship/Seasonal Positions: Law Clerks will work on substantive legal issues often involving client contact, attend inter-agency meetings as appropriate, and participate in office staff meetings. The law clerk will be assigned a supervisor who will meet with the student on a regular basis to discuss the program.
