Description: The President's Council on Sustainable Development is responsible for carrying out President Clinton's mandate to develop and implement a national action strategy for sustainable development. The goal is to develop policies that seek to meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.

Internship/Seasonal Positions: Interns work as an essential part of a small team of professional policy analysts whose specialties range from environment to community development to international trade. Interns also have the opportunity to work with the council's implementation task forces, community organizations, and federal agencies involved in sustainable development.
