Description: The National Trust for Historic Preservation, chartered by Congress in 1949, is a non-profit organization with over 250,000 members. As the leader of the preservation movement, it is committed to saving America's diverse historic environments and to preserving and revitalizing the livability of communities nationwide.
Internship/Seasonal Positions: The NTHP Legal Internship Program includes full time summer internships and part-time internships in the Spring and Fall Semesters. The work of the office includes the provision of general in house legal assistance to the operating divisions of the trust. It also engages in ligation relating to the preservation of historic properties. Interns work in all phases of the office's work and also write extensively for the monthly reporter covering court cases and other legal developments.
