Description: The Office of General Counsel of the Marshall Space Flight Center is a staff office reporting directly to the Center Director. The staff consists of 8 attorneys, 3 paralegals, and 3 support personnel, and is directed by the Chief Counsel who is responsible for developing local policy and procedures. Its role is to actively provide the Center with in-house legal counsel on all matters of law and legal policy in connection with the Center's activities. These include contracts, torts, labor, personnel, environmental, government ethics, patent and licensing, admiralty, and administrative law.

Internship/Seasonal Positions: The NASA program hires interns when possible and the law clerks perform research/reviews in various areas of law relative to NASA.
