Description: The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency is a bureau of the Treasury Department. The Office's principal function is the supervision of the national banking system. A staff of over 2,000 bank examiners performs the statutorily required examinations of all banks subject to the Comptrollers supervision.

Internship/Seasonal Positions: Interns research and prepare memoranda and letters on various laws and regulations applicable to supervision and regulation of nationally chartered banks. Laws include the National Bank Act, Federal Reserve Act, and the FDIC Act. They also assist senior attorneys on research projects (such as surveying state laws) on ongoing investigations.
