Description: The Plan Benefits Division is a 40 attorney division which has responsibility for enforcing the fiduciary responsibility provisions of the ERISA statute. Through regulatory enforcement and litigation they seek to protect employee health and pension benefits.

Internship/Seasonal Positions: PBSD offers unpaid internships on a year round basis. Interns conduct research concerning substantive and procedural issues. participate in discussions concerning litigation strategy, draft memoranda, pleadings and discovery requests. On occasion interns may also work on drafting amicus briefs filed on behalf of the Department.
