Description: OEPC provides National and Regional leadership and direction in the coordination and development of environmental policy and program evaluation. It provides for a coordinated and unified approach and response to environmental issues that affect multiple bureaus in order to ensure that the Department speaks as one entity with respect to those issues. The OPEC provides independent environmental and technical advice to the Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and Assistant Secretary for Policy, Management and Budget and other senior departmental officials.

Internship/Seasonal Positions: The OEPC internship usually lasts for 6 - 12 months; 24 hours per week. The internship provides interns (legal and non-legal) an opportunity to work on current local, state, and regional issues with access to policy meetings.
