Description: The Federal Public Defender represents indigent defendants accused of violations of federal law with the District of Columbia.

Internship/Seasonal Positions: Interns work closely with staff public defenders on pending cases. They are extensively involved in research and writing on criminal and constitutional issues. Internships are available throughout the year on a volunteer basis and there are a limited number of paid positions available during the summer months.
