Description: This regional office of the EPA is responsible for implementation of EPA programs in Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. The primary function of their attorneys is enforcement of the federal environmental laws in the four state area.

Internship/Seasonal Positions: This office of the EPA strives to provide an intern program which as a valuable learning experience for the intern and in which the intern provides much needed legal work for the agency. Assignments range from legal research to interviewing witnesses, drafting pleadings, and correspondence, assisting in discovery, and participating in settlement negotiations. They hire 3 summer interns and 1 intern during the school year.
